Remember Ram Krishna and the Sita Project?

In April 2017, Wool-it and a number of very generous people  and organisations, supported the Sita Project .

Sita lives in Nepal and teaches early childhood education for First Steps Himalaya and is also Number One caregiver to her husband Ram Krishna whose life was dramatically changed by the 2015 earthquakes which left him paralysed and confined to a wheelchair. Two years on and with their now  18 month old son they continued to live in a small temporary shelter with one tap for running water shared amongst the neighbours. There was little hope of improving their living situation or their inadequate sanitation facilities to give Ram Krishna the best opportunity to safeguard his health and care for his family.

Today, they are so close to moving into their new home – thanks to all of you who supported The Sita Project.

This report has been supplied by First Steps Himalaya and I’d love to share it with you! Click  Progress report The Sita Project June 2018
